Description
Excursion to Seelisberg Combine a cruise from Brunnen to Treib with an ensuing trip on the delightful funicular to Seelisberg. During your ascent with the nostalgic funicular you will have fantastic views down onto the lake. Then you may walk along the pretty trail from Seelisberg to the legendary Rütli meadow, the birthplace of Switzerland. The trail is well marked and offers engaging insights into Swiss history.
For this combined excursion by boat, funicular and on foot, please plan at least half a day. The actual walking time from Seelisberg downhill to the Rütli meadow is about 2 hours. The comfortable walking trail is paved and suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
