Description
A scenic cruise and delightful walk from Gersau to Vitznau Combine a relaxing cruise on Lake Lucerne with an idyllic countryside ramble. This exciting excursion starts with a journey by boat from Lucerne to Gersau, letting you enjoy the tranquility of the water and the stunning Alpine views. You arrive in the historic town of Gersau and then embark on an inspiring stroll along the shores of the lake and around the foot of Mount Rigi to Vitznau. The well-marked and well-maintained walking trail will take you past old chestnut trees and through lush fields. Much of the walk is on level terrain, though there are some gradients as well. Once you arrive in Vitznau, you may take the boat back to Lucerne. Refreshments are available on our ships or ashore.
