Description
From Monday, 5 to Sunday, 11 October 2026, discover the “Cradle of Switzerland” both on board and on land. Hop off whenever you would like to learn more and discover the stories ashore with digital discovery trails, guided tours and family-friendly activities. Here you can purchase the special day pass for Lake Uri, which is already valid from Beckenried and Gersau, for this week.

On board, following in the footsteps of Switzerland Swiss history comes to life from the boat: With the special day pass, you can travel across Lake Uri as far as Brunnen and Beckenried. Along the way, surrounded by the impressive lake and mountain landscape, you will discover stories about the Rütli, William Tell and the origins of Switzerland.
Hop off and discover fascinating stories about the different places Hop off along the way and continue discovering the stories on land: smarTrails guide you independently by smartphone through villages, along paths and to historic sites. Free one-hour guided tours in Brunnen, Beckenried and on the Rütli bring the stories to life. The digital puzzle and discovery trails can be explored independently at any time.
